December is here: Christmas carols are playing, trees are decorated, houses have lights...it's that time of year again! It was great weekend to get even the biggest "bah humbug" in the Christmas mood!
- Did you notice a difference at our Boulevard campus? Deck the halls.
- Number of lights on stage: I'm guessing around 10,000. (one individual tree had 1800!)
- Someone asked if we got new video cameras this weekend. Nope. Properly mounted lights (we didn't even get new lights, just mounted them properly.)
- Dozens of people worked countless hours to deck out the church: thank you to everyone who helped. A special thank you to the following people who were there every day last week: Joy, Dale, Jeff, Mark, & Steve!
- Had a little Christmas par-tay last Friday night. Experienced my first lava cake. Yum! So fun to hang out with friends. (I believe another par-tay is on the calendar for this Friday, too.)
- Christmas Cranium. Yup. I made them act out "fruit cake."
- Pastor Jon reminded us about grace this weekend!
- The Christmas story is a perfect reminder of grace: unlikely people at an unlikely time!
- No matter what we have to offer, God will make up the difference for what we need to accomplish what we've been called to!
- Everyone has unique grace-gifts. Are you using yours?
- What is the faith journey God has called you on? Are you allowing to give you "grace upon grace" to complete it?

- 11:00 am service was packed out. Pastor Burt led the crowd in singing along with "Let it Snow" on the video announcements. He is so funny!
- Pastor Shane shared a great picture of God's grace concerning tithing. I'll try to get the clip. What are you doing with your cookies?
- I got to participate in our on-line campus this weekend. SO MUCH FUN! I love using technology to advance the kingdom!
- Remember to pass out your Christmas Eve invite cards! WOM works (google it!)
