Part of the family I live with is on vacation for a week. This means I'm in charge of the zoo. And when I mean zoo, I mean three cats and a dog.
Now with five people in the family, all the animals seem to get enough attention and the burden of caring for all their peculiarities doesn't fall on any one person. But with just one person in the house, well, I've been a little swamped by creatures demanding petting, food, and potty breaks.
So, I'm making some rules for the animals this week. Why? Because I'm the human, that's why.
CAT RULES:
Rule #1. I set the wake up schedule. 3 am in not an appropriate time to meow in my ear wanting out. Hold it or use the litter box. BTW, I AM more stubborn than you, so the more you meow, the longer it's going to take me to move.
Rule #2. There is a maximum limit of two cats on my lap at any one time. I love you all, but I am not your human heating pad.
DOG RULES:
Rule #1. My stuff is MY stuff. No sniffing, licking or taking my stuff. Do you really only want to eat socks all week long?
Rule #2. Potty breaks will be quick and efficient. Stop trying to eat the stuff the cats left. That's THEIR stuff and it's gross. (One of the reasons for rule #1.)
If everyone just follows these simple rules. I'm sure we will have a great week.
You should definitely pray for me this week.
